He is also too loyal to his seniors, many of which used the Covid extra year to play themselves into starting positions at the expense of developing younger talent which Pat is actually very good at. It's hard to sit older kids but for the sake of the program, he needs to shake things up starting with the QB. UNC will beat them by 30 points if he doesn't. They are almost certainly losing next week no matter what, but he needs to start building for future games and seasons starting with VT and the bye week.
