honestly, I really don't know. I don't have time to dive deep into the politics. though, I do know the politcs run deep in this whole Sandusky mess. far from black & white as many people would like to conveniently think.

is Lubrano a nut job? I have no idea. sounds like he and the rest of the alumni elected BOT are demanding transparency that'll most likely reveal collusion between PSU's self-serving power train & the NCAA for the benefit of expediency and quite frankly, deflection or redirection off their behinds. who knows, Governor Corbett is probably within those documents. just my guess. at least, that's the chirping I've been hearing.

to say I cant speak intelligently about Lubrano's motives beyond my high level guess would be insincere on my part.

Like Paly, I don't follow the BOT/Alumni/Paterno/et al BS as much as some do. It gets old and tiring after a while. That said, those that do follow and talk about it every day seem to love this guy. That probably tells you all you need to know on where he falls on certain PSU related issues. I think opinions range from approval to sheer indifference. I don't think there is any group that dislikes him, though I could be wrong on that.

Couldn't agree more, why stop with the BOT. Let's throw a little sunshine on the past 30 years or so of the hermit kingdom. My guess, whack-job Lubrano is only in favor of transparency on a very selective basis.

It's hard to imagine anyone being more transparent than Lubrano, although Hitler and Karl Marx come close.

Lubrano is who he is. And he was easily elected to the board by alumni, along with other like minded new board members. So, while there are plenty of sane PSU alums, their BOT election wins should tell you that the number of nut job alums are far more numerous than just what you see on BWI.

Couldn't agree more. He's an embarrassment to the university. Elected by the statue polishers on a platform of clearing Joe's name and nothing more. The university has far greater problems to work out--chiefly the exorbitant tuition rates.
