Luka to the Lakers?!?

Clearly, Luka wore out his welcome. No way Dallas initiates let alone makes that trade unless there is something amiss.

It's crazy that generation talent guys like him and Zion can't stay out of the drive thru lane.
I was told Iwhen I said Zion would have to work on his body for the NBA that I was nuts. Granted he wasn’t fat. He’s a load. But he’s just too big. He needs to lean out considerably. Imagine what he’d be capable of at a reasonable weight - scary thought.

And yea Luka is just up and down and maybe the Mavs are tired of it. And maybe there’s more to it as well.

I read that they are frustrated with his lack of conditioning and his excess weight. He is reported to be around 260 pounds.

All that may be true, but it's still an really bad return on an asset. If they were going to trade him they should have quietly made it known around the league that they would be willing to listen to offers. Because based on what other, lesser players have been worth in trade value, they could have gotten a heck of a lot more for him than what they did.

It sure seems like they did not get a good return for him.

I really thought that was some kind of prank or April fools time joke when I first saw the headline.

I'm not sure if Luka and LeBron can function well together on the court. This will be interesting to see.

Also, I've never been a AD fan because he's always injured and doesn't live up to his potential. He should be motivated to win now in Dallas.

Been seeing that people think the Mavs new owners are pulling a Major League so they can move the team to Las Vegas.

Here’s an interesting tidbit: this Mavericks GM was the same Nike executive who lost Steph Curry to Under Armour 12 years ago. He reportedly kept calling him ‘Seth’ and used the same slide deck they presented Kevin Durant.

Some people just fail upwards, huh?
