Luther is getting it

Agree. He's gonna be really good. And right now as a sophomore he is like the poster child for the 6th or 7th man that is just an all-around solid player at the D1 level. Not amazing at any one particular skill (although tip-ins have become his specialty), but he does everything at a more than serviceable level.
Essentially yeah. Not in the starting 5, but is easily one of the 5 most productive players on the team. Honestly I think they're better off leaving the lineup/rotation as is. It's working right now, so....
High energy and seems to be tough as nails. Should be a key piece the rest of this year and the next 2.
So what do you do next year? Move Young back to the 5 and start Luther at the 4? I'd rather see that than Dixon simply rolling Nix out there.

Idk, if that's the case would they really do that or just play Luther at the 5? It will be interesting, but even if Nix earns the starting job I think Luther will get even more playing time off the bench than he is this year. Hopefully it turns out to be one of those good problems to have.
Luther needs to start next year, period end of story. He will only get better in the offseason and he plays hard on BOTH ends of the court.
I don't think Nix will be just given anything because of his size. If he's not ready to contribute he probably won't get much run. But as of this moment Luther has definitely earned and deserves some time.
not anymore, Jones should have got the minutes all along, more room for improvement, an important cog the final few and the tourney.
Developing into a Ryan Spangler type player. Yes, I realize I'm committing the cardinal sin of comparing a white player to another white player, but when Luther is playing well that's honestly who he reminds me of. Tough and opportunistic in the paint, but also able to both score and defend from the outside.
