Luther Pitt's Garbage Guy

I think Pitt has found their garbage guy. I say that with the utmost respect. We need a guy like Jaron Brown or Nasir Robinson that will get you some points, a few rebounds,a blocked shot here and there, a,couple of steals etc. This team has too many finesse players. We need a guy that will put his nose in the fight.

I think Luther is that guy. Sure he is going to make a few mistake but lack of hustle won't be one of them.
Pitt needs to,get those 50-50 balls and steal a few free possessions in the game. I would,start him from here on out. I like Jeterto come in and replace Young or Artis as a 6th man.He is too much of a defensive liability.

Maybe it is time to give Jones a start, too. Tell him to play defense and drive to the basket.

I'm also guessing you didn't see that he's been terrible for 5 or so games--so bad, in fact, that Dixon did not put him in the first half.

I'm also guessing you didn't see that he's been terrible for 5 or so games--so bad, in fact, that Dixon did not put him in the first half.

I don't necessarily want Jones to start, but he at least attempts to drive rather than settling for jumpers. We need more balance offensively, mostly just shoot jump shots. I'd prefer more Wilson over him though. But I want both to majorly eat into Smith's minutes.

Luther really kept us in the game against Miami ...... he is limited to some extent skill wise but he does some things that others on the team don't ..... like play physical, tough defense, rebound, and he gets some garbage points ...... I think Luther has to be careful though and not try to do too much ..... if he tries to do things that he is not good at, he gets in trouble ...... hopefully, he can improve in the things he does well and the things he doesn't do well and overall become a better player ..... we need tougher and more fundamentally sound players on this team.... he could be one of them.

That's the big thing. He needs more games like Miami (not that you should always expect 12 and 7) and less games like say, Louisville (10 minutes of 2 and 1). It's hard to plan on having a guy play big minutes when you don't know if he's going to play well or almost disappear on any given night.

Yea, that's been kind of the signature characteristic of this team. Young's been there pretty much game in and out but everyone else, you're never sure what you're going to get.
