I don't understand his decision. He was one injury away from being the starter, and our QB of the future runs with reckless abandon.
Bit of a gamble to stick around and hope. He is taking the safe route if he truly feels he has D1 starter skills.
JUCOs aren’t know for player development. It will be interesting to see how it plays out for him.
True, though there have been instances where kids used juco to increase their standing successfully. Hopefully he learned a lot this year.

Coach Speak. These guys are fairly good at this skill. You should hear James Franklin. The way he talked about his fatass kicker last year made me think he was a great kicker and potential all Big Ten LB. Then poof kicker be gone.

If something happened to Pickett we would’ve seen Patti or Town before MacVittie.
That kicker is gone because he was suicide and needed mental health issues. Partially because of stipid comments like yours.

Mesa CC has a good football program. I played there under Paul Widmer and we won a lot. Played in the post season. The Thunderbirds transferred a lot of players to D1 rosters over the years. Its a nice campus and I had a great experience there. Good luck to McVittie!
