Just wondering if another school would risk signing him, dependent on what his medical condition is. A second opinion won't necessarily change the original opinion.

Perhaps he decided without football he didn’t want to be in pittsburgh so is hoping someone closer to home offers him the same deal?

Probably just wants to play football. Hope he's okay if he plays.

Strange given his medical situation, but maybe Pitt's medical staff is just more conservative. Hope he is ok if he gets the chance to play again.

I wish him nothing but the best and, if he plays again, the absolute best health. It’s great that he may still have a chance at pursuing his dream, even if it isn’t at Pitt.

Tough to give up on a dream. I wish him health, but more am hoping he earns a degree wherever he lands.

Really disappointed that he couldn't play for Pitt. I felt the same way when George Hill couldn't play. I guess Hill remained at Pitt and may have graduated by now.

Just because he's in the portal doesn't mean he'll get to play somewhere else.
