It's kind of hard making a prediction w/ 2 freshman in the starting lineup. Freshman can contribute, but you never know to what level. I'm thinking not to the level we are accustomed to. That is an odd lineup and not sure where the points are coming rom? We are leaving Artis, Young, Jeter, Johnson, Jones out? eh...
I said 2017/2018, not 2016/2017.
Of course it's hard to say what new guys are going to do. How many of Robinson's critics were complaining four years ago when Dixon landed a top 5 PG?
We would win about 17-20 games with that roster playing our typical schedule. NIT/CBI Tourney.
Right - Luther and Johnson can be contributors, but could never be starters on a top 5 ACC team. We need to recruit better and we need a leader. Maybe Kithcart can be that guy.
Right, that's why it baffles my mind why we can't even make top 40 recruiting rankings?? I mean, top 10 I can see but top freaking 40 and nowhere to be found?? When is Dixon going to be held accountable for this??
Poker, I too share your concern, but rankings are not everything! We used to get it done without highly rated classes. The more highly rated kids we got, the more the program took a step back. Kithcart and Manigault look like they can play and maybe more importantly, they can be leaders! That said, we are running on empty and have no more room for misses on the recruiting trail. So, if these two and Nix do not work out, come next spring, I will move over to your corner, and any faith I had left in Dixon will be all but gone!
