Few made some adjustments to his staff, recruited better, and opened things up a bit. Funny how that worked out well for him. I wonder if JD is willing to do the same or if he is too stubborn in his ways.
Different Gonzaga team this year. Usually they peak early, snooze thru their conference schedule, then struggle a bit in the tournament. This season the guard play was so shaky early that it took them some time to hit their stride.
For the first time that I can remember Gonzaga is playing their best basketball in March. They will be a relatively big favorite no matter who they face in the next round.

You will never see me down Mark Few, but for the numerous players they put in the NBA they probably should've done a little better in the tournament over the years.
Of course that means that Few is a hell of a judge of talent as well, he does a solid job recruiting to be sure, but not all his guys are big time recruits. He does well with transfers, hits the foreign market hard, and his players all seem to end up a little better than their star ratings.
