Not really. Usually, the list is just former Duke players currently in coaching.

If I were a Duke fan, and Coach K walked away from the game today, I sure wouldn't want to see any of his former players or assistants be his replacement. I would want to see someone like Gregg Marshall get the job. I would be glad Capel got another big job to see if he is up to it this time before he gets serious consideration to be K's successor.
