Marquis Williams has more INTs than pass catches

He’s been really good. Has almost always graded out high. A true technician at corner.

If he were bigger he would be an NFL lock. He is listed at 5’9” 180…if he is that’s good but he seems small when standing with the other DB’s. He came into Pitt listed at 5’8” 160. I remember a picture with Avonte Maddox and the 5’9” Maddox seemed much bigger than Williams. Would be nice if he had an NFL career similar to smaller guys like Maddox and K’waun Williams.

Been the most underrated player on the team for like three years. It's almost a running joke at this point. Didn't the ACC tweet out some watch list thing on it this summer that had Woods and Devonshire but not him?

On the other hand, we haven't faced a solid QB yet. This week will be a test and then some.

How do you grade "giving up a catch"? I just take it with a grain of salt because I remember I was driving through central PA on a saturday afternoon a couple years back and the only college football game I could get on the radio was PSU. Jack Ham was blathering about "the great Tariq Castro-Fields has never given up a touchdown pass." Although he was this magnificent college player according to the PSU statkeepers, plus he put up quite good combine/pro day test numbers, Tariq Castro-Fields hasn't played a down in an NFL regular season game.

Well he hasn’t given up a touchdown pass in the NFL yet, either.

Is he better than Toast Porter? He needs to perfect Toast's patented jersey grab
Pitt DBs are excellent at jersey grabs. Do you miss the 5 DPIs we get every week? They adjust in the NFL and become pretty good DBs. Pitt has a pretty good pipeline going right now.

I don’t judge it, it’s a stat 😂😂

Guessing it means the guy you’re covering catches a ball

Just saying our guy is pretty good. He’s been great for 3 years now.
