Can not be Maryland is from the greatest conference in collage football.
More teams like 12 closer to Rutgers then Michigan and Ohio state.

I think its noteworthy that many of the pre Christmas bowl games.....all played by mid majors.....had, on paper, interesting matchups.

A lot of these upcoming ones look like duds.

The should have called it the "not a damn soul in the stands bowl". They turned off the upper deck lights to hide the empty seats. The lower tier looked like the two bands plus the players parents. This is the kind of bowl that should go away. Yes, most bowls have less than optimal attendance but that was pathetic.

it all depends on the fanbase. I thought pitt drew a pretty good crowd when they played in Detroit.

There are more than a few people who make decent money doing literally nothing but organizing this bowl game.
