The Colts need to set the bar higher than Mason. Either draft a guy early and/or sign a better free agent QB.
Colts first priority needs to be hiring a competent head coach.
No team is going to enter next season with Mason Rudolph as their starter. He'll get a chance somewhere to compete to be the backup.
The colts will pick in the Top 5. They will draft Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, or Will Levis.
He might be somebody's backup in the NFL. There are a lot of bad backups in the NFL. He won't start anywhere.
Why in the world would the colts want Rudolph and how is he an upgrade my God I guess you forget the last time he played he was awful vs detroit
The Steelers should probably sign him as a backup. He is what he is and they're not going to do much better in free agency. They sure don't need to waste any more draft picks on QB's. The guy has been a pretty solid teammate given the situation.
Hey, Steve Smith says the Steelers have a Saturday offensive coordinator. Why can't the Colts have a Saturday head coach?
my thoughts exactly. a ton of bad qbs in the nfl. i think he will be able to find a team where he can at least compete for a starting job (Unlike here). i agree with you though, if he is a team's starting qb, that team probably wont be doing much.
Think he can absolutely be an adequate back up for the right team though.
That was a couple of years ago. Growing pains for players (especially quarterbacks) are unpredictable. Maybe Rudolf improved while going through the past two seasons. Maybe not. I do know that former Steelers were advocating Rudolf over Trubisky. I trust their opinion more than yours.
Maybe so but he's nothing but a back up so again why would the colts want him as there starter
