Mason Rudolph to Steelers

Honestly I saw this coming last night. Bryant trade gave them some picks to work with and trade up. Guess it doesn’t hurt either to draft his favorite college target.

He has to be better than Landry Jones already, right?

Bryant’s a BUM
A total Bum.

He’d rather get high than fine tune his craft

Great moves by Tomlin...

Interesting the Steelers are a bit thin on defense and they take skill positions with 2 of their first 3 selections

Possibly one of the dumbest statements ever issued on this board.
What's so dumb about hope?

I would always hope the new guys will be better. If Mason Rudolph can beat out one of the best to ever put on a Steeler uniform, the future would seem to be pretty bright for them.

You're old enough to remember what happened when Terry Bradshaw retired, and there wasn't a QB on the roster for years who came close to his ability.

I'm not saying Rudolph will be better, or even as good as Ben, but if I were a Steeler fan, I would certainly hope so.

You should have quit with one.

They’re trying to win 7
And it’s going to be with Ben as he winds down.
If MR beats out Ben it’s because Ben is hurt.

Cmon man

We will have to wait til 2020 to see if this pick is a good one. Bens got two years at least.

To get a top QB in the draft, you have to suck enough to get a top 15 pick (unless you are the Patriots). Rudolph fell into their laps in the third round. I liked Darnold, Rudolph, and Mayfield when the draft started. I believe they will have the best chance for success in the NFL.

Rosen is a flake that says some things that makes me wonder if he loves football. Jackson and Allen never completed 60% of their passes in college. You can't name me one multiyear starter in college that completed less than 60% of their passes and became a star in the NFL
