I highly doubt he would have left Hoiberg for anywhere other than SJU. Those 2 are incredibly close. Iowa St. probably could have outbid SJU as well, so it's a moot point.

Someone told me Garry St. Jean's kid, who works for the Kings, is also going to be on the staff at St. John's.

Dixon needs to do something with his staff. He has two guys who are good, but not great recruiters, at least not at the moment. He then has two guys who do nothing (though Regan cant recruit off campus). Barton absolutely has to go to bring in a guy who is a top level recruiter, but I don't expect it.

He might, but those 2 have been together since their days in the NBA so I'd think he would have followed Hoiberg if not for SJU.
