Seeing that they've been outscored by Ohio State 226 to 69 (56 to 17) since going to the conference, seems like a decent hire for the Twerps.

...then there was that 66-3 thrashing to the Nits at the end of the season. I know, injuries and all, but still.

Maybe he can make some use of the talent they have/will have coming in. But maybe too he’ll just end up hopping to yet another job after season’s end.

It's just a shame how the whole thing worked out. He could have taken a big raise to stay at Pitt and continue the excellent work he did with the offense, the program would have much-needed continuity, Canada would have a better job, Pitt would have a better OC than it currently does, and Orgeron would have had to choose a different sacrificial lamb to scapegoat for his own incompetence. Instead, all parties are the worse for the situation, except maybe Maryland. I truly don't believe that anyone can ever succeed with that job though.

If Canada demonstrates any level of success this season, then Maryland might as well start compiling a list of potential OC candidates for the 2019 season.
