I watched Nebraska lose to Penn ST
last night. Nebraska beat PSU earlier
in the year and the Nits turned this
one around and barely pulled won.
Nebraska really stinks and they have
two ex Pitt players, Stevenson and
McGowens who had 17 pts...14 in the
second half. He plays in a more
system, non one on one offense.
He looks much like the same player
but more in control. He starts,
made a few highlight drives and
hit a few threes. Nebraska hustles,
but they're bad, real bad. As for
Stevenson he got seven minutes,
didn't score, one assist, and had
0 rebounds.

Penn ST has more talent but somehow
lost to them before and almost lost
again last night.

Nebraska is terrible. We complain to high heaven about Capel, but Hoiberg took over a far better situation and has won fewer conference games in two years than Stallings did.

Not sure I agree. Nebraska had no roster after Miles left. He has a long uphill climb.

That's just one game.
He does that.
He'll play good for a game then revert.

I've seen him a few times this
year. He is what he is, but my
point was more about the system
they use. Seemingly keeps him a
bit more in control. He's not the
superstar on this team by any
stretch. The other guard had
41 last night.

I have seen them often. He is the same player who has some really good games and also a bunch of not so good teams. not so sure I agree about the more structured offense since Nebraska runs similar stuff. Trey still does many of the crazy shit he did while he was here. Last night, down 3, he fouled PSU with about 40 seconds left when nobody wanted them to foul. Both he and X are the same, they are talented, but not winning players.
