I heard some stuff about a few schools that threw me off and really knocked them right off my list. This one coach came in and talked to me and my coach about how a big school down south was offering a lot of people. I had an offer from that school, and this coach - he was from a different league - was telling us how that school in the south would take like 30 commits and then pick on Signing Day which 25 they would take and drop the others. I couldn't believe that. You could blow your D-1 chances and I felt like that was wrong, so I cut that school out.
I don't think he cut the right team from the list! If any team in D1 or D1P5 was going that on signing day, it would be national news. I can't believe he thought that coach was telling the truth. I think it was Patrino that pulled a ship a day before signing period and it was all over the place. Dropping 5 would make ESPN lead story.
