I asked Charlie Partridge about how Pitt tweets out graphics being top three in sacks over the past three years and if kids notice that reputation that has been built:
“I think so. Some kids you have to educate on that fact. I think a lot of them do know and you’ve got to credit the kids and credit the system with Randy and Coach Duzz. We work hard to develop an aggressive mindset where we’re trying to make plays in the backfield. Sometimes you have to navigate risks to do that, but to answer your question directly that reputation is being built because you’re going on really three years now. One hit wonder, they knew but is it real? Now that we’ve done it three years in a row hopefully we can keep this type of attack going with these guys and maintain the dominance up front we’ve, at times, had.”
