Mr. Lubert, who joined the Board of Trustees in September 2007, has a beneficial ownership of more than 10 percent of PSR P Developers, Inc. which owns 101 Innovation Boulevard (Lubert Building) and 103 Innovation Boulevard at Innovation Park.
The University currently has five leases with PSRP Developers, Inc. for space in 101 and 103 Innovation Boulevard. Four of these leases were executed prior to September 2007, but were renewed in August 2008 and March, November and December of 2012. The fifth lease was executed in December 2007 and renewed in June 2012. In aggregate, the five current leases are for 31,891 square feet with base rent and common area maintenance fees of $787,338 per year. These leases were ratified by the Board of Trustees in September, 2013.
The fifth lease was initiated in May 1, 2004 and, after one five-year renewal, is expiring on April 30, 2014. In November, 2013, the Board approved the exercise by the University of an option to extend this lease for an additional five years until April 30, 2019, at which time the University will again have the opportunity to renew for an additional five years. The extended lease terms for 12,413 square feet in the 101 Innovation Boulevard (Lubert Building) are $24.25 per square foot or $301,015 per year for the current year. The lease amount includes the base rent and common area maintenance fees with the base rent being adjusted annually to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index.
In September 2013, the Board of Trustees approved an additional lease agreement for office space in 101 Innovation Boulevard (Lubert Building) with PSRP Developers, Inc. pursuant to which the University leases 4,196 square feet with base rent and common area maintenance fees totaling $106,578 per year, beginning in September 2013 and continuing for five years, with three five -year renewal options. In March 2015, the Board of Trustees approved an additional lease agreement for office space in 101 Innovation Boulevard (Lubert Building) with PSRP Developers, Inc. pursuant to which the University will lease Suite 314 in the Lubert Building. The terms of the lease are for 3,346 square feet at an annual base rent of $55,209 ($16.50/square foot) for a three- year term, with five, one-year options to renew.

I honestly could not definitively name one sitting Pitt BOT member, when they vote or how long a term is. Those lunatics seem to know the ins and outs of the whole system. Do they have lives?

One difference between Pitt's board and Penn State's board is that Penn State has elections for some members of the board and Pitt's board is all appointed. Having elections allows batshit crazy people to get a position on the Penn State board that would never get on the Pitt board in a million years.
And thank god for that.
The Cult is very weird they are the most Passionate Fans of Penn State Football and most Hateful People towards Penn State Trustees and most Obsessive Delusional Supporters of Paterno Era Football.
What is happening is what I suspected then told could happen The Trustees are smart, caring and thoughtful professionals knowing the true realities of how Penn state Football Culture had to change even though they have current Supporters that demand they be changed.
The simple realities today is the Victim's Voices will always drown out the Passion for Paterno return of his reputation that is no longer possible, just as Joe predicted this would happen before he died.
As predicted better minds and emotions are now going to prevail, and Settlements are being discussed. What is best for Penn State University to move forward into the future and even the Paterno's are realizing that as well. Penn State University Board of Trustees A9 Faction.
All factions are getting their emotional Houses in Order. As stated, Lubrano, Jubelier, Doran are smart people, and each a fine Alumnus, and dedicated to Penn State University. They and can see time will not bring back the glory of Penn State's Football Program Paterno Era over the soil Legacy requiring Penn State 2012 Reforms now combined with Unsealed Victim's Voices that can't be silence anymore? The Societal Values on Children Sexual Abuse and Major Media Interpretation of the just Allegations is something that can only grow if one decides to challenge those Children that are supported by another 6 Victim Allegations.
It is my belief, that Penn State will Honor Paterno some how as well as down the road. I also believe there the NCAA will settle with the Paterno's in face saving way, in my opinion.
The problem now is HOW because the Voice of Victim's can grow and finally all parties understand only Penn State University will continue to be damaged if any Civil Cases proceeds and only Penn State Trustees together can resolve these cases as well.
However, there has been so many twists and turns so far in this sordid Penn State University Football Scandal there is no way saying what else can come out, and all I know is they can't move on until these issues, Trials, and lawsuits get dismissed, settled, or end with a verdict?
Even then, the Pandora's Box has been Open with those Unsealed Documents Allegations and all Penn State fans have to live with that forever, until they pass away into the Elysian fields.
The only reason why the PSU Cult are Shocked on what happen, is they have been and are perhaps someone the Dumbest People on Messages Boards. I mean, these guys follow Zeigler's Narrative that nothing happen and even Zeigler gave up now, knowing it is over, and Penn State is accountable left with garbage dumpsters only PennyLiar believes are valuable as they burn away by the truth of Brave Children Victim's Voices now Adults?

It does make sense though in a, I guess your word weird works, way. If you still think that Paterno was a god then you have to pretend that everything that has gone on is a lie, and the BOT's actions show pretty well that those folks know that it wasn't. You don’t have a ton of credibility, truthers, except with each other. You reduce it further every time you call Ganim a “bitch” or suggest she’s been sleeping around. And you reduce it when you keep your silence in the face of such misogyny, just because you don’t like Ganim and her work. All of which will actively short-circuit a renaissance for Paterno’s memory, or Penn State itself
Unfortunately, Ganim isn’t the only female journalist to face such harassment: Mother Jones’ editor Clara Jeffrey suffered days of ugly, violent, misogynistic tweets a few weeks back after wading into the gun controversy following the gun death of a retired American sniper. This stuff is routine: Women who write about unpopular subjects in unpopular ways routinely face rape threats and sexual taunts in emails, comments sections, and on social media.

This has to stop. Women journalists shouldn’t have to be afraid to do their jobs because they’re women. And Ganim, in particular, shouldn’t be subject to a lifetime of harassment because she knocked a football coach, of all people, off his pedestal.

I am with you even tho I want to agree with the captain that eventually the cult will come around and be fully sorry and rehabilitated. I suspect they eventually will feel shame and will give up their association with the program because the programs leaders no longer share their twisted views and no longer want to be associated with the false God Paturdo. I know there are many who will never give up their belief in Paturdo, including that idiot Franco Harris. I hope I am wrong captain, but I feel some of the cult will never admit wrong, and they will go down with the sinking ship, never abandoning their love for Paturdo, and coming over to join the fight for the abused children.
It may take a generation before the old timers who were scammed by the Paterno "Success With Honor" BS die off in great numbers before PSU could hope to cleanse the program and the university at large of the mouth-breathing Joebots. The Joebots skew heavily toward old timers who believed the "Success With Honor" BS for so long, they simply cannot admit that the whole thing was just a scam.
The Joebots already rip the current PSU students for caring enough about Paterno's legacy. Whenever there are pictures on BWI of any pro-Paterno/anti BoT meeting, the pictures usually resemble the gathering of Civil War veterans at Gettysburg in 1938 age-wise. Even posters on BWI will often post that "the over age 50 demographic is well represented" at pro-Paterno gatherings.
Demographics are not on the Joebots side, age-wise. As the Joebots die off, their views will be further silenced and all that will be left to evaluate Paterno will be the cold, stark, unfeeling history of why he was fired.
Most university boards are like Pitt's in that prominent people in business and government are appointed.
CEOs Judges etc, all responsible people who understand what a university board is and does. They are from the community but being an alum is not a prerequisite. The big problem at PSU is that the board is so incestuous in nature. It's all alums and former athletes, no outside thinking or input. Soon it's just the inmates running the nuthouse. Especially the part of having elections to the board. Any incompetent boob can get elected and that is why you have all of these jobots on their board now.
