I wouldn’t rule that out.

Bates’ dad/handler is shady. Started his own “high school” for his son which has no brick & mortar building and consists solely of his basketball team. They affiliated with an accredited online HS learning program. They don’t have to play a Michigan schedule and aren’t part of the Michigan HS athletic association.

Yet another alarming trend in amateur athletics.

That's how Findlay Prep is in Vegas. The basketball players go to a fake school called Findlay Prep but take their classes at a real school. It makes no sense.

Basketball only has rosters of 12-15, so it would be easier to BUY stars, if you had some rich dude that wanted to $hell out.

College basketball recruits don't really care about conference affiliation but man the new American Athletic Conference is going to be so bad, its hard to believe 5-stars will want to play in that crap.
