Hope everyone is enjoying life.
Steelers game was ...
Pickett played......
Lets just say the crowd was happy at the end.
Idk. Fill in the blank.
Best wishes to Pitt fans.

Pickett was not on his game tonight, but he made my family excited at the end !
Was fun to watch a pitt man.
It means more to me when he plays, but if he is not the franchise its ok.
team seems to win more when he plays.

Merry Christmas!

I thought Pickett played okay for the most part. He had the one really bad INT. He was clutch in the last drive though.

I think the game seems to be slowing down for him a little bit. He's doing a good job extending plays and keeping his focus downfield. He still had some accuracy issues, but the weather conditions might have been a factor tonight. One other criticism... I don't know if it's play design or Kenny getting baited by the coverage, but he completes far too many passes well short of the sticks on 3rd down to kill drives. But overall, I thought for a rookie in adverse conditions, he played okay. He got the W, which is the main thing. Plenty of room for improvement though.

Gotta tell you TD, I’ve been a big Kenny apologist and been one of the few all year outside of this Pitt fanbase who is happy with where he is in his development.

But last night was the first time doubt started creeping in. I’m still frustrated that he doesn’t attack the second level, whether that’s on him or the OC. For the first time his pocket presence didn’t look great, and of course he missed some bad throws. Not sure if that was the hand size rearing their ugly head like they did senior bowl week when the weather was bad.

All this being said, Kenny had the poise to lead his team down the field and threw the dart for the winning TD. AND he outplayed a vet QB who many have said represents the type of QB at best that Kenny will be. So he was the better QB on the field last night and I’ll chalk up the mediocre performance to the weather.

Usually goes on the receiver.
