There were several people on here that thought that Pitt only getting 4-1/2 last night was proof that Vegas was idiotic.

The odds makers have Miami pegged so incorrectly that with tonight's win and cover they are now 10-10 against the spread this year.

DraftKings had Miami at +6000 to win the ACC after they started 3-0. They are in pretty good shape right now.

They are now one of four teams with two losses in the conference and one of those four teams is universally regarded as being better than them and another of them is the team that has beaten them twice. I mean their actual odds right now are surely much better than 60-1, but they most certainly are not the favorite or even close to it.

Sagarin's computer did the same thing as the Vegas oddsmakers and had VA Tech by about 5 (5.47). When you toss out W-L record and only consider strength of schedule and how close you kept your losses these systems fall down in their accuracy. To be fair, Sagarin's "Recent" rating better reflects current reality and had Miami by 5 (4.97).

FSU just couldn't score effectively against the zone D GT played all game.

I sure hope Pitt remembers its lesson from Cuse game #2 when they play GT since I expect they will play only zone like they did vs FSU.
