So as Pitt fans, who do we want to see lose?

Notre Dame is obvious, since they are quite unlikable, and they can't jump us for a bowl at 5-7.

Miami? If they lose to nd, that means a loss to Pitt would be five in a row. Do we think Miami is likely to pull off five straight clunkers?
Win, and they might pull out of that funk and find their motivation.

I cant see how Miami can win. They are so injured and banged up, they almost dont have a defense now.

Good question though... right away I think I want Miami to pull off the win. But thinking about it as you posed the question, I think I am more sure of that. Although, I think Miami jumps Pitt too if we are close at the end.

I think the answer is pretty simple, Pitt fans should want Miami to win. Pitt has an opportunity to beat Miami the following week. Plus, seeing the Domers lose yet another game is always a great thing of beauty! Hail to Pitt!

Pretty much this. There's no benefit to having ND win imo.

The benefits to Miami winning are...increase the strength of schedule for Miami, make Notre Dame look worse in the eyes of recruits, make the ACC look better with ooc schedule results, get ND 1 loss closer from being able to steal an ACC bowl bid.

I'm guessing if both Pitt and Miami win, our game will get a better time slot so for that reason alone I'd prefer a Canes W. Also don't want the Domers taking a bowl spot so they need to finish with 5 or less W's.

I'd like to see Miami kick their ass for the simple reason I'd rather see Pitt play a Miami team coming off a big victory over "mighty" Notre Dame.
