Goes to show you how great of a coaching job that Vidovich did since we only had 1 draftee off a senior-laden team.

Michael went to my high school. He is a great kid. He thought there was a chance he could get picked. He is such a versatile player.

Vidovich and staff did a great job developing him. Hopefully, he will stay with Toronto FC first team.

Definitely versatile. You don't see guys rotate between midfield and center back. I hope he makes it but it's so tough to make MLS now as they have essentially taken away the international player limit.

Wasn’t he the local kid from Deer Lakes? I remember posting here a few years ago that a high level club coach locally, about the highest level coach you can find here, told me that we don’t produce Jay Vidovich type players. Jay has no use for them. This would prove otherwise.

Hey now…my kid played center back at ODP, outside back at club, center mid in HS and the #9 in college. She didn’t get drafted though. Haha.

Ok but I really meant in college and like 1 game you are playing center back then the next game you are playing right or left midfield. Sullivan did not play CM as I incorrectly said. He also played as a winger.

Yea, the local kids have played. The Bucknell transfer from NA played a lot. The Charleroi kid played a decent amount. Peperek from the soccer hotbed of Connellsville played some. Meanwhile, Jesus Ferriera's brother can't sniff the field.

It happens more than you think. Like a lot.

In NCAA D1? I mean I can't say I follow other teams but I would think its pretty rare.
I follow women more than men. My daughter started as a 6, then a 10 and then a 9. Played both the 7 and 11 as well. I’ve seen Randy and Izzo-Brown move players around. Mens game I don’t follow as much, but off the top of my head, how about Noel?

Noel only played forward. Vidovich doesn't move players around much.

Wasn’t he a right back?

You are thinking of Loeffelsend, who plays for the new San Diego FC, who stole my idea of building a joint college football/MLS stadium. He joins Chuky Lozano and Luca DeLaTorre in what might be a fun team to watch. But, wait, I didn't renew MLS Season Pass. I literally would have but the long sign-authentication process every time plus the fact they show you the score and thumbnails (is that what they are even called) of each goal made me feel it's not worth it. You can select to not show you the score but that gets defaulted back to showing the score when there's an update or you are watching on a different device. But even if that's turned off, if you click on Miami vs Orlando, the next screen will give you options to click on the game in English, the game in Spanish, a highlight of Messi goal in 27th minute and a highlight of Suarez goal in 80th minute. What's the point of watching then?
