I know Matt mentioned Pitt going after Mike Edwards. From this article it seems that he has eliminated us or we arent going after him much/anymore. Could change but isnt promising.
"Right now it's the dead period, so Thursday was the first day that we could try to fit a visit in," Edwards said. "I just decided Nebraska would be a nice place."
At this point, Edwards said Nebraska is still part of his top five list of schools along with Georgia, Kansas State, SMU and Marquette. However, his recruiting stock continues to soar as the spring signing period - which starts on April 15 - draws near.
Duke, UCLA and most recently Arizona have all started showing interest in the 6-foot-10, 222-pound stretch four.
"I'm not locked in," Edwards said of his top-five schools. "I'm just kind of staying open. I'm not sure if any of those five are going to change. I don't know."
