Mike White on Paris Ford - good read

Would Steel Valley have been 1A or 2A in the 4 class setup? They seemed to have been the biggest beneciaries of the new 6 class system.

You have a thing just based on results of last year that Paris Ford is the number one recruit in the state

They were one of the biggest AA schools this year (eight more boys would have made them a AAA school) and they played AA last year in the four class setup, so why would you think that they would have been an A school this year if they didn't change to six classes?

I saw 3 Steel Valley games this year and Ford is the most exciting player I've seen since Pryor. No wondor Michigan is stalking him. Dont tell me Pitt doesnt recruit superstar High School talent.

The local player who's skill set translates best to the college and Pro level is Paris Ford. It's not even close. He is another Jordan Whitehead. Wade is a great high school player, but he will not be able to keep up with the speed, the height and athleticism of the WR's in college.
