Let's see, 3 straight losing seasons, second half collapses, locker room turmoil, kids transferring out of the program before the season ended, no recruits lined up as of now for the second consecutive upcoming season.

Um please can someone enlighten me as to what on earth this man did to warrant a promotion? I'm really serious too. What the hell was the point of that?

Squeezing out a few more dollars for his team before the inevitable end?

Milan Brown is truly an amazing coach and mentor to all who know him. As a graduate of Howard University, his HBCU background makes him a inspiring individual as he led Mount St. Mary's to a NCAA tournament appearance and later headed up the Holy Cross program for five years. Notably, when he was the head coach at Holy Cross he broke barriers that will be forever memorialized as he became the first African American to become a member of the Worcester Country Club.

That's great to celebrate . Maybe he can get a bridge named after him. Doesn't seem to matter on the recruiting trail. Or on the court.

Assistant coaches in college basketball are up there with football strength coaches and coordinators as some of the most overrated things in sports. In college basketball, you need 3 plus-level players and 3-4 more league average players. You pay a HC a ton of money to recruit those 3 players. You shouldn't have to rely on assistants. There is ONE type of valuable assistant and that's the package deals assistant that will be responsible for both of Jamie's NCAAT bids at TCU. With 1 year left, I do believe Capel needs to bring in a package deal guy who can bring a Top 50/75 with him.
