Miles sanders really impressive

Respectfully disagree, if he had chosen Pitt all here would be waiting to see him play as they are at Penn State. Joe Moorhead needs and wants Two Top Running backs in his System and has one in Barkley and needs another either Robinson or Sanders. They will struggle a tad early setting up the Moorhead Offense in the first 4 to 6 games, but sanders should contribute if he is has good as all said, including Pitt Posters.

Additionally, I see it a different way, in what Recruit in 2016 will contribute more for this season and it won't be Sanders is my guess and hunch because of Barkley & Robinson are Running Back Vets.

Pitt got the best Recruit in Jordan Whitehead last year and that was proven on Defense and Offense and Special Teams as well Post Season Awards.

It is my opinion, Pitt's Hamiln is the best Recruit this year that will contribute sooner than Miles will at PSU. It is because Hamlin is needed right away just like Whitehead and Hamlin has the Smarts, Skills, and Toughness to play right away just like Whitehead. Pitt also has the Defensive coaches to make Hamlin ready early to be great as well.

Pitt is loaded at Running Back way better than Penn State and Sanders could see that too. Finally, I never see an upside in talking a any recruit down that chose another Football Program, one never knows when they may realize they made a mistake and leave and Pitt is happy to take them. Sanders will do fine at PSU and Pitt really did not need him now the ACC's King James has return to Health.

We will see on September 10th and 3 games later the next 3 years!

Just a Hunch and Opinion others disagree, so be it.

Praying to her Joepa cutout
They should praying the Unsealed Penn State Settlement Allegations may not be complete and released in full, so the entire Penn State Paterno Era Legacy is not ruined for the future. If it comes out Joe Knew way back in 1970s-80s.

The current March Of Social Media Judging Past Children Victims will grow bigger than attempt to resurrect a legacy now buried under a Scandal no one will be able to refute if Horrific Allegations are reported in the Media.

It will show the pathway for all Penn Staters to forget that kind of past that the World won't accept as Winning Anything, and that will impact on some Recruits and Mothers not even considering Penn State as much in the future.

It is now just coming out the reason why Santa Anna invaded Texas is that Texans refused to obey the Mexico Laws that Outlawed Slavery, and even the Alamo is starting to come under Social Media Political Correctness To Revise The History.

Any event, place, and anyone associated in what was considered Successful Winning that caused many Victims in that Pathway of Past Pride while Victims came about will not longer to be fully Honorable as time judges that kind of past in ways many are doing to today.

Bill Cosby struggled to be entertaining, successful, and an America leader by example, but his own legacy now under trials and tribulations from many allegations of his past, is gone, and no in time not earning the respect it once had and will be the victim and he is still alive. Same with OJ no longer being a hero of anything.

Not saying it will happen at Penn State, but less than 30 days, a whole new revelation may emerge from the allegations that will set off future time bombs.

As we are seeing at Baylor, LGBT Community 49 Martrys, Spotlight, Stonewall, Amistad, Schindler's Lists and host of Books, Plays, Documentaries, and Movies that certainly will turn on any slogan that created Children Victims from a Charity that Victimized them and did not save them in pursuit Protecting any football program to win Football Games.

What was successful yesterday may not be honorable today and many stories will come from that kind of failure of nerve to stand up and stop or hide it! Will keep coming up for a while, and long while.

I was at the game, and focused on both Hamlin and Sanders. First I've ever seen of them.
Sanders was in a class by himself in this game. Anyone thinking otherwise is being foolish.
I have no idea about Mama's boy or whatever that this board talks about, but bottom line is
the Nitwits got a bona fide elite running back in Sanders. Some of his runs were plays were he
either out ran, out juked, or made a spectacular run out of nothing. I was sitting on the Maryland
side of the field because of the shade, and the Maryland fans were amazed by Sanders.

Hamlin....my guess he was hurt since he barely played half of the game. He was on the sidelines as much as he was on the field. He made an acrobatic interception early and landed
awkwardly. We were wondering if he were hurt and that might have led to his playing so little.
I understand he is probably our top recruit, but I couldn't get a read on him in this game. So,
I'll defer to the recruiting gurus and those that have seen him frequently in his career, but in this
game he did very little.

two other guys we missed on that were once current verbals to us are givens and bowers....both are on the fast track for the stupid nits.

Saquon Barkley is an unbelievably good back and was last year. How much did that help PSU last year? If the rest of the team is average, especially the OK, it really doesn't matter much. It's like when we had Shady but very little else.

Franklin's entire coaching extension and career is dependent on OC Joe Moorhead fixing Franklin's Offense and then hopes Franklin stay out of it on the sidle lines.

The entire Team on Offense and Defense will be adjusting to a New QB, OC, OL, & DC Coaches. PSU has great talent at RBs and WRs, but that OL and QB must adjust to executing Moorhead's new system, not Franklin's.

Barkley, Robinson and Sanders should see Sunday Games in the NFL but whether they see 8 Wins in 2016 is what Moorhead has to accomplish. Penn State Faithful are showing skeptical patience with Franklin and all hopes are on Moorhead and Limegrover for 2016.

He did very little but still probably had the play of the game. Haha. He will be just fine. Sanders is good, so is Hamlin

MD was a garbage opponent... Wish PA still played OH

Not taking anything away from anyone but you're correct, this was not a good Maryland team at all.

For the most part it looked like quality division 1 recruits going up against lower division 1 and 1-aa type kids. Pennsylvania had the better kids for the most part and it showed in the game.

Then Pitt should beware. Shady demonstrated that he could make a team that struggles to stop the run look very bad. Pitt's front seven could have their hands full versus a Shady-quality RB.

I'm not completely sold on the boy Hamlin yet . Not saying overrated but just not sold ... I don't think he's going to have the impact like a Jordan whitehead or even a Tyler Boyd type of freshman year ... I just don't see the explosiveness or the game changing plays in him . Don't get me wrong I think he will be a solid player for us a step up definitely from Lafayette Pitts .......

Sanders is a stud RB. I just hope, for his sake, they let him be the feature back that he can be.
Very good observation, I see many more similarities between Barkley & Sanders. Barkley just has flat out speed around the end that is hard to contain. Sanders has that Shady Type of running that run between tackles and breaking up the middle.

If you add in a Top QB that run with them, those are 3 Players hard to contain and no needing as much as OL to hold any blocks, they all can explosive, and with top Wideouts even harder to defend. the OL, has to be better than the last 2 years?

Pitt's LBs and DBs will have their hands full in defending against the RBs & WRs and every tackle has to be almost perfect as well as covering WRs.

Yet, Pitt's Offense should be able to score and play Ball Control against a tough PSU Defense.

Why I see a very close Toss Up Game!

Joe Moorhead's Offense from what I have read, is based on the QBs with RBs and WRs, having specific reads and plays that adjust together and take sometime to learn, but the more skills those Players have the easier it is implement!

We shall see how well they are doing and good thing Pitt is playing theme early.

The way Coach Pat & all Coaches at ND, PSU, and OSU talked about Hamlin is his Swerving Hips giving him advantage in covering Wideouts and staying with them with speed and quickness. i think that was seen in his Interception, but being so young and still a Freshmen will take time to build up the body too.

Jordan Whitehead needed sometime to adjust and was injured a few times in games and played through the pain later. Jordan also just had some Knee Treatments and shows why Freshmen need some time to develop their Bodies to adjust to faster and bigger Football against Upperclassmen. But the best usually do adapt and adjust but in doing so, take some tough beatings and again the Best get through it.

Hamlin is not just fast but quick and smart and can grasp the Coaches Teachings and toughness is always a struggle for All freshmen, but the best get through it. Revis was an instant Star much like Whitehead, and Henry did the same at WVU in his first year. I'll trust Coach Pat judgment and why he really went after Hamlin to be the keystone of his Recruiting last year and beat out Franklin in the last few weeks of Recruiting.

Coach Pat & Staff has shown they can develop their recruits faster than Franklin & why Franklin New Staffers will take more time to adjust to each others Coaching as well? Other Pitt poster's on the Premium Boards know far more than me, and some here too. This is just my opinion and others may have better insight to differ.

The way I see it, Pitt's Coach Pat & Staff are way better in developing his Recruits, Players, and Teams and making Half-Time Adjustments, Coaching on the Sidelines and calling plays to finish Games. Just way better Coaching than Franklin.

I think Franklin also has trouble with his own Staffers and why he had to replace 3 of them that knew him best for years at Vanderbilt and just left him. Even when you see Franklin's Demeanor on his Sideline coaching he looks confused, troubled, and chastising his own coaches with frowns and yelling at them.

Franklin admitted he overestimated the challenges of taking over Penn State and playing against 3 of the better Big Ten Programs and Coaches Competition every year in the Big Ten East.

Coach Pat Narduzzi knows all about that too while learning it at MSU all those years and made the adjustment to Head Coaching far easier than Franklin did years ago.

Pitt's Coach Pat looks, acts, and carries a quiet confidence about himself and and it shows before, during, and after games.

Penn State's Franklin is like a cheerleader jumping up and down, talks a lot, looks confused and one can see the panic on his face on the Sidelines as his Teams falls apart by the Third Quarter and attempts to hide it with a a brave Franklin doesn't care look, and just wimps out at the end of games.

I could not remember when I saw that look Franklin tends to show before, then I recall a very similar Non-Caring Brave Look after Kordell Stewart's threw an Intercep. Stewart would just exhibit putting on a brave face and acting as saying, I'll get it next time, so what, I made a misatke. As opposed , to watching Brady, Montana, Big Ben, Manning, or Griffin get really upset if they threw an Interceptuion or Fumble, they would be on the Sidelines showing they were upset and most Players stayed away from them. To Stewart it looked like an attitude, it is just a game, and why it was see easy to dump Stewart.

Roethlisberger was Winner from Day One and even learning the game you can see his heart, head, and soul in his game. It is real Football Player that cares about his play, team and players.

The way I see the difference it is was always about Stewart making excuses for Stewart and always about him, just like Franklin came in at Penn State with much bravado, but now blames Sanctions, Big Ten East, and his own Coaches and why they left him, and he announce he has a Plan to Win.

As opposed to coach Pat Narduzzi with his own attitude let me see what cards have been dealt to me here at Pitt, and just goes out after choosing his Staff and just go and get things done and even after losing, blames no one, just wants to improve his Players and Teams. After The Miami lost, Coach Pat was asked what happen, he said, I don't Know maybe too much Turkey on Thanksgiving? Versus Franklin's Press Conferences explaining his Plan to win at Penn State then firing his OC the next week, and other Coaches left him a month later? One Coach goes out and just coaches the other talks about it?

We shall see what happens this year?

Two other players looked pretty good. Carter of Woodland Hills. (DL) And Hudson. Hudson played like he was on another level compared to everyone else. Very, very good.
