Miles Sanders

Don't get your hopes up... He's big time nitter fan. He probably had nothing better to do...

Or maybe he's there to convince other recruits to go to PSU...

I'd say we are loaded with RB's for the next 4 or 5 years and we will recruit more over the years to come

Re: I Am Glad Miles Sanders Visiting Pitt!

I remember when Shady McCoy did not want to visit Pitt but his father brought him anyway, and the rest is history as far as McCoy's Career at Pitt being great, and doing great in the NFL!

No question Coach Franklin has been selling Penn State to recruits making it a Pennsylvania against the rest of the Big Ten States, and recruits are buying it. The problem with that is many Penn State Players will find the bench more than playing like they would at Pitt, that has always played freshmen that show they can play just like Dorsett, Heyward, Martin, McCoy, and Conners!

Yet, Coach Pat & Staff just like Coach Dantonio did at MSU is just focused on making Pitt Players like he did to MSU Players turning them into First Round Draft Picks. Even far more than Franklin did at Vanderbilt! The opportunity to play at Pitt faster is greater than at Penn State!

It is up to Coach Pat & staff to find the recruits and players that form a complete team for Pitt and I think it is great Miles Sanders visited Pitt even if his heart is set on PSU!

Learning to play as soon as possible in college helps one grow into the NFL sooner not later, and Pitt has always provided that opportunity right up there with USC, ND, OSU, and Michigan, as seen in the Pro Football Hall of fame, more than Penn State and with Reuben Brown, Larry Fitzgerald, and Darrelle Revis soon to enter too.

Godspeed to Miles wherever he ends up!

I don't know if he wants to come to Pitt or not. My question is, what does this say to the OSU's, Alabama's, and Michigan's? Maybe he did just want to see his friends practice, but others schools will notice and put pressure on him to reconsider.

If he is solid to UPS, it makes no sense to go to anyone's Spring Game. If he just went just to watch football, ok. But the fact that a sportscaster tweeted it means that other schools will notice and increase their pursuit of him. It just opens the door for no reason.

You really think that a random sportscaster posting a random tidbit of info that Miles Sanders himself already has called what it was(a visit with friends) should cause a kid not to do what he wants? Should they just live in bubbles once they commit somewhere since, well someone might assume something is brewing? Yeah ok.

If Sanders wanted to visit his friends he would have gone to campus, not practice! He also joined his coach to visit practice. He has to be interested and we shall see what pans out over the next 10 months.

He can do whatever the F he wants, Joebot. Where did I say he can't do what he wants? It just opens up the chance that more coaches may start to pick up their pursuit of him. Do you think coaches stop recruiting a kid once they commit somewhere? Your's doesn't.
