Pump the brakes a bit on this one, as I just heard back from someone on Pitt's side. Their exact words were, "no, not true."
So we will see, but sounds like this report was rushed a bit. My guess is that Pitt is somewhat interested and checked out the situation to see if it was possible. Maybe that contact was misconstrued as a commitment.
Could it still happen? Sure. In fact, one of my sources was told last week that a player might be added. It could be Milligan, but it doesn't sound like a done deal at the moment. When you ask the good question about eligibility, that may be the holdup. This is speculation, but I would imagine Pitt is trying to figure out whether or not they can get him into school. Of course, the window is shrinking for any addition to this team.
