Femi and/or Hugley are gone. Capel is done. Heather should be too for having to eat $15 million. Get Miller on the horn. Honestly, he probably won't even take it.
More than those 2 will be transferring, possibly before the end of the year. Capel can't recruit, can't keep even the marginal players he does get, and he chases away the good ones. There is something really off with this guy.
Obviously but those are the only 2 that matter. My guess is that every scholarship player who can transfer will. Guys like Sibande, Oladapo, and Burton cannot without sitting a year, I dont think.
The news with the Pitt basketball program isn't over for this year, I'm sure. There will be departures and we'll be out of the discussion for most of our recruits and get none. At least the next few months won't be boring.
The only reason I disagree is that they’ll get a chance to get some run in the ACC. The conference is down but they’ll still get a chance to show what they can do. When the season’s over I’d expect another mass exodus. But I’d be pretty surprised if anyone shut it down before then.
If Femi or Hugley shine for a while then bail with a few games left in an see that as an exception. But even then I think they finish.
Yea, I agree. Maybe a deep bench guy like Max or maybe Collier realizes he isnt a P6 guy and transfers during the semester break.
Normally I'd agree but wait until they are getting blown out every game. Losing brings everyone down. Causes tension in the locker room. Coaches are more quick tempered. I'm sure some players will not like their playing time. Maybe you're right but it wouldn't surprise me if it happened.
Yea Max I can see for sure if he can get a spot somewhere. But I think Collier’s gonna be given chances. If they stick him on the bench then that’s another matter.
Yea but Collier is so bad, I could see his playing time get cut significantly so he decides he might as well go to Drexel sooner than later.
Well that allegedly happened last year and everyone stayed but 1. And And I don’t care how they framed it I’m convinced X was booted.
Don’t forget these kids just wanna play ball. Anyone who’s getting pt I don’t think is going anywhere during the season.

Well I essentially said the same thing. If he’s not playing it may be a different matter.
It’s happening in football. Kids are leaving early - probably to get a spot. So it’s gonna happen on the hoops side too.
If it’s as toxic as some suggest maybe they celebrate. Who knows. I just think if kids are getting time they’re not going anywhere during the season.
I wonder if these kids are thinking how much of a waste of time this season will be for them with their coach being a dead man walking and knowing they could have a better opportunity to play elsewhere with a decent head coach.
