Mo Gueye made his NBA debut

2 points in 6 minutes for the Raptors. Great story of perseverance. Didnt play HS basketball. I think the story was he played as a guest player on an AAU team after HS and decided to walk-on to his junior college team. Had an ok career at Stony Brook but nothing spectacular but then had a surprisingly good season at Pitt. Good early pull for Capel. Could have used him on some of his better teams.

He always struck me as a guy that looked like a “freshman with upside”. Except of course he was already an upperclassman. Not sure I knew he didn’t play HS. That makes sense.

But good for him. Obviously continued to get better.

Yes. Mouhamed Gueye plays for the Hawks. He has been out injured for much of the season.
