Why are you deleting threads and not banning the cult visitors? Their mods ban anyone who says squat about their shamed dead coach.

@CaptainSidneyReilly - I had my response to your last comment almost complete when the thread was deleted. Basically I said I've been around since 2015, you can check my profile, but only had a couple post prior to this (I was up to 6!). I rarely comment but come here when I run out of content to consume on the PSU boards (Scout Premium and BSD) and the Rutgers Rivals site (I'm up to about 350 posts over there), I grew up in NJ so when they joined the B1G I started following them closer.
I agreed with you on what you said, because I experienced it myself and i have no problem in supporting what I know to be true even if others disagree with me. I also enjoy learning by being corrected so long as it is supported by facts and comments that change my own mind.
I welcome you to the Lair to speak your mind at all times and leave it to the Monitor's to decide and I have had my own Posts removed and suspended too, it is Rivals Ball, Game and Backyard, I accept it too!
I admire much of Penn State and myself have Criticism of PITT, but love they are playing together again for a while, and after the game last year, if the Players can shake hands and respect each other so can Bloggers.
We do Blog Banter too and expect it on BWI doing the same, humor is part of CFB Boo-la Boo-la!
Pitt is rebuilding its Football Program and has much to do!
Penn State already as a Strong Program and is in Full Compliance with many advantages as well!
WVU is in between but doing better too!
The future looks bright again and we can always agree to disagree. Pitt Passionate Posters on the Lair have every right to be Pro-Pitt and i respect it even at times i disagree with it no respecting other Programs. The Penn State Posters are on the Lion's Den and far more cerebral than Cults Dolts on the BWI Board. WVU Posters wish they were in SEC, Big Ten and most of all in the ACC, but Big-12 is better than AAC!
Football Talk is better than Troll Trashing All Of Us any Day. Pitt can play catch up just like Clemson did with ACC Coastal Stability, Budgets, and Narduzzi. Penn State will always be Second Fiddle to Michigan and Ohio State in the Big Ten East Challenge until they get Penn State Alumnus Back as Head Coach. WVU is just a fish far from the Big-12 Pond and will always struggle against UTexas and OU!
We shall see if my views are correct in the future, but PITT, WVU, PSU all can win 10+ Games in the coming years, whether they can go 13-0 is tougher to come by in my view too! Pitt has the easier path to it though.

Joe is a Legend and a Great Coach that made some bad errors and big mistakes and stayed far too long thinking he was bigger than College Football and was the Penn State Pride before causing his fall and shaming his own Football Program Name, and admitted it in Hindsight and cried but also confessed before he died. Even the Paterno's now know they can revive what has died and children being abused by silence is their own hindsight of sins if they demand recognition that best left buried in a memory but not on any statue!
Time for Paterno's, Franco, and PS3RS to help Penn State heal the wounds and not keep reopening the scabs that just bring new revelations of bleeding threads in children over a disparaging reputation inflicted by Joe himself.
The Program itself still stands as reminder of so much more Joe did right too, but let his own silence inherit that kind of silence too the way he ignore what shamed Penn State Name for the sake of winning 409.
If Confederate Monuments to Civil War Heroes are slowing being torn down and sold in a Today's Societal Changes, so will Joe sooner or later should Penn State make the mistake of putting Joe Statue Back Up!
As more comes out and it is in books, documentaries and movies on Court Records one cannot buy back a reputation stained by him on the Records of Children Depositions Under Oath!
The Legend in Hindsight will never be seen in any kind of Heavenly Light in the future except like another Spotlight Movie that will Flicker into the Wind of Children Bad Memories of a 409 Clean Up.

Every board is moderated differently. I've always tried to take the approach of having this board be a bit more "free" in the sense of other fans being able to come here and engage with you guys - and for you guys to be able to go back and forth with them. We delete threads when they get out of control (or try to cut them off before they get there) and we blacklist other fans when they become a problem. But admittedly, the guidelines for moderation are a bit looser on this odd whereas we keep things tighter on the premium board, since that's much more of a "Pitt fan-centric" place to discuss Pitt things.

Moderating here gotta be a tough gig. So much fodder for negativity, which breeds incivility. I certainly have been a culprit ... more often a victim, though.
With Penn State, it's equally tough. This is a business, these sites need clicks to make money, and although the great majority of PSU fans are jerks, and I imagine even the non-Nit mods of all these boards (other than their own of course) detest them ... how could you not ... the most important color scheme to the operators are not blue/white or ... whatever heck our colors are this week ... but green/green. Banning even, say, 15% of the worst Nit trolls would be a heck of a big number. Whereas that same percentage of OUR trolls would, alas, not be as high.
