I have a funny feeling they are going to pick one and my God, I hope its not Miles Sanders. I think Sanders is a 2nd/3rd rounder. Hall/Ollison 5th/6th.

Ollison has a lot of “miles” on him where as Hall and Sanders don’t. Hall and Sanders have equal ceilings imo.

They actually do need a RB. They have power backs now need to add a shifty speed back.

I think sanders is the best of the three. He has a bit more wiggle and is a smoother runner. Hall begind him and Ollie is bit behind Ollie although I think Ollie is a better blocker

Steelers shouldn’t pick a RB until the fourth round at the earliest as they have much bigger needs.

Ollison. He will probably be available in a middle round. He beats out Hall because of the blitz pick up. Sanders will probably be the first of the 3 off the board.

I like ollison the most. With that said, I think sanders would be better fit for Steelers with JC and Samuels.

Hall isn’t getting drafted.

The Steelers definitely need some help at RB even with the success that Conner has had. Conner has not shown he can stay healthy all year yet.

But I agree that they have other needs more important to draft one especially in the top few rounds.

They should be able to sign a veteran for relatively cheap to pair with Conner and Samuels for next year.

Amy Jeanne Trask former CEO of the Oakland Raiders was on the fan earlier this week.

She was asked if the Steelers need to draft a running back.

She said no they need to go find an established RB because in her opinion the draft is a

" cr-p shoot " as to who works out and who doesn't.

She said the Steelers have a young RB in Conner,

so if it were her decision she'd find a proven quantity to compliment Conner.

Interesting take on things.
She was very interesting. I believe she said she was with the Raiders organization for 30 years.

if you got a power back that gets you 1,200 yards and a backup power back that can put up similar per game stats, why do you need a shifty guy?

Having a type like a Darrin Sproules or the White guy in NE is kind of a trend now. Wont be your guy every play but someone you bring in for a pass but could feel ok checking down to a run to them. I don't know anything about how well Sanders could fill such a role, if he was a decent receiver. The Steelers might legitimately think they have such a guy already in Samuels though. It's far, far, far from their biggest need in the draft though.

I don't think we need a RB, I think we can pick one up in FA. someone like Toussant but who doesnt' absolutely suck.. so someone basically opposite of toussant I guess.

Conner I love but my man is far from reliable and Samuel looked good in one game, I like him but we don't know what we have yet either.. def should identify a 3rd back..

The last thing the Steelers need to do is draft another fumbling RB - I hope Sanders is not even on Pittsburgh's draft board. I agree they need to go find a reliable veteran.

While I say good riddance to Bell, he never fumbled. Can't say that about any other RB on the Steelers' roster right now.

I agree that they'll look at who they can pick up in FA first and then and only then will they address RB in the draft in the late rounds,. But make no mistake, they need another RB in addition to Samuels and JC.

I don't know. Why don't u ask the Eagles why they needed 3 different style backs to help win a Super Bowl. Wasnt one of there backs rather shifty(Dion Lewis).

I really do not know anyone over there to ask. I called, but they have not gotten back to me yet (but, oddly enough, their answering machine notes that Dion Lewis was not part of their Super Bowl team)...However, and in the meantime, just because they had a variety does not mean said variety was required or they "needed" it..

I'd take Hall or Ollison, 6th round or later.

I had to Google Sanders, LOL! Penn State. I can't say on him, I didn't watch Penn State except for the bad Pitt game.

Sanders is trash. Worst of the 3. Most talented for sure, but couldnt hold onto a football if his hands were glued to it. I like the combo of Conner and Samuels

I predict Hall to have a decent career and Ollison to get a couple years before a career ending injury. Miles ends up on practice squad before eventually being cut.

With Conner starting and Samuels the change of pace guy/pass catcher, I’d actually rather them sign a free agent. Ridley is gone no doubt, but another veteran who hasn’t been around quite that long would be preferable.

But as for the 3 college kids, it’s Hall easily. Sanders should probably go way before the Steelers should even think RB and Ollison is a lot like Conner. Hall is a bit different of a back and should be there late enough that the Steelers could grab their third string RB.
