We already knew this, but what a piece of garbage. Washington fans can't get rid of him fast enough.

I don't know how it didn't all end with the whole, "told his video team to produce outtake videos of cheerleaders changing and being body painted over multiple years and photo shoots" thing.

U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform (Our mission statement is to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of the federal government and all its agencies )....why is it again that these birds are investigating the misdeeds regarding personnel of a professional football team?

Because of the anti-trust exemption granted to the NFL their operations are subject to congressional oversight

Don’t worry the new house majority already said it would end the investigation - because protecting toxic billionaires is their priority

I don’t care either way .
I was answering the question why congress can hold a hearing .

And if you don’t think Dan Snyder is a toxic prick - I don’t know what to say .
Elon Musk getting his federal handouts will likewise be protected .

Has he been toxic to you? Has he been toxic to PITT? Is he anymore toxic than the politicians in Washington....on both sides. I don't know what he has done, but being accused and being found guilty are two different things. And just because someone is not liked by everyone does not make them toxic.

Because you pulled that mission statement from the website of the Republican representatives of House Oversight and Reform and not the actual House Committee whose oversight includes not only government operations but also consumer protections, economic policy, civil rights, environmental policy, national security, etc.

It sure is surprising that the House Republican website would leave out a few of those responsibilities and subcommittees...

Ummmm NO. The federal government needs to be limited in size and scope. Just small enough to fit into a gay couple's bedroom.

Personally, I have no problem with the feds looking into the Commanders' situation.

But having said that, the feds should investigate themselves (Senate, House, Cabinet) as thoroughly as they investigate others under their umbrella.
