Up 2-0 at halftime. Lose 3-2 in OT. Pitt might have one of the Top 10-15 teams in the country but the majority of their schedule is against teams as good or better than them. Hard to see how they can win enough games to go above .500 and get an NCAAT bid.

What do you think they have to do to make the NCAAT- be above .500 - more?

Seems like they have a really good team - but as you say - just a crazy difficult schedule.

Based on my limited knowledge of college soccer, my guess is a record just over .500 gets them in because that should equate to an RPI in the Top 25. 2 years ago, they were hovering around .500 with an excellent RPI and some prognosticators had them in but then they wilted and finished below .500.
