The popularity of the name, Muhammad, and its variants has also caused some claims that it’s now the most popular name for a boy in the UK. That’s been disputed by critics of the methodology that lumps all the different spellings together but separates, for example, Oliver and Ollie.

I see this story every year. I always ask what is the problem if it is true? Can't parents pick their kids names anymore or do you want to control and limit that?
Pretty sure you totally missed the point. Not saying I agree with the implied point, just that you missed it.

There really was nothing implied. Just found the two baby names interesting. Maybe I just have a weird fascination with life in the UK. What can I say!
But now that you mention it, Islam is spreading west. The Religion of Peace will be the dominate religion in this country (and not just Dearborn, Michigan). And at this rate, all of the libs who dislike Christianity and poopoo the associated values associated with it, will enjoy life in a new a different way.
