After all the horror stories, we parked at the mall, tailgated in peace, played cornhole with both other Pitt fans & wvu fans, drank straubs w both, had easy shuttle over to game. Met many other fans of both schools & had great conversations w them. No issues getting to our seats or while we were there. Probably the worst interaction was a young Pitt student, overly intoxicated being obnoxious. I had one of my son in laws who is in the Army, " talk to him" and after that, it all was good.
Totally positive game day experience. Shuttled back to lot, got out of lot, dropped one son in law off in Bridgeville other one off in harmar, still made it back to Punxsutawney by 1:50 am.
Hats off to wvu & wv st police for a well run event.
