My opinion, Sierra Nevada Beer Camp»»» grapefruit sculpin

Seriously?

I find that hard to believe. I was disappointed with beer camp last year. Now I have to get one. Had nugget nectar this week. I liked it.

Is it comparable with Deschutes Freshly Squeezed IPA?

I am starting to be more into pairing beers with foods. It is why I like IPAs and their varieties because I think they do well with food.

Of course at this stage of my life I would go with bourbon or wine before beer.

Sadly don't get much access to Deschutes in North Carolina other then beer fests..
And I'm too old for that scene anyone.

Everyone here is on fire about the Winston Salem brewery Fooothills release of Sexual Chocolate.
Which I didn't realize was a thing.

had a couple Freshly Squeezed last night. Got some Bear Republic Racer 10. Both great.

haven't tried the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp so I can't agree or disagree; I do like the Grapefruit Sculpin a lot, though. Just wondering, as I take a statin drug for my cholesterol levels, if the Grapefruit in the Sculpin would have an affect on my medication? They say that grapefruit and cholesterol drugs don't mix . . . aw screw it, I'm gonna die some day, anyway . . . !! :p

Moe any luck finding Alpine your way?? I think I mentioned this but Green Flash bought them which was great for their distribution. Before that I think it was rare to see it too far outside of San Diego.

King, neither of them are distributed in Florida - thanks for the recommendation, though

Right now I am into my Stouts - Victory Storm King is next in the queue

Ok, obviously the Sculpin Grapefruit is really good. However, this SN Bear Camp is
spectacular and for 5 dollars a six pack less.

By the way, if you boys and girls ever get to NC, to to the Mills River SN brewery. It is wonderful. You won't believe how big it is. Full restaurant, tours, gift shop, 15 or so beers on tap. Great

I had a post deleted in this thread where I said "you have your head up your ass" joking about tropical IPA being better than sculpin but a post remains from yesterday where someone tells me to go $$&$ myself and I'm an a$$hole. Only in peak ville.

If you guys like the tropical try citradellic from new Belgium
