CBB is extremely competitive this year. My unscientific research attributes it to the transfer portal which I personally view as a huge leap forward toward balance in college sports.
But there are teams who are ranked much higher than their performance warrants.
My end of Feb list in no order.
TENNESSEE 8 losses: sub 500 road
VIRGINIA A good team, but not top 10
XAVIER. The late season Miller swoon
OHIO ST. TVs pet, but whipping boy
TCU: 6-9 since Jan 1
IOWA STATE 2 and 8 away from home
I see some mid major such as Marshall teaching one of those teams a lesson in neutral floor justice.
