after a little life early in the year, we've settled back in to looking exactly like we did last year, as most of us expected.
1. there is no offensive gameplan at all. pass the ball around, and around, and around, and then take a last second three.
2. turnovers: we never used to have bad turnovers. happens all game now. stupid mental errors.
3. defense: every team has their best shooting night of the year. a nobody from the opposing team goes 50% shooting 3's.
4. ododa is terrible. he isn't even d2 material.
5. a good amount of time, the players either look confused or they don't care.
6. the defense actually picks up when we press. then we stop using it. why?
7. recruiting: the fact that we had to take 3 grad transfers is really bad. everyone wants to be positive but we all knew what was coming. maia can't jump higher than me, and that's a very bad thing. with the poor recruiting the past few years, you'd think jamie would be going like gangbusters to hire an ass't who can recruit. nope.
i wish i could say this team will maybe gel and get better in february and maybe make a decent run to the tournament but i'd be foolling myself. they're only going to get worse. every ACC coach has this team figured out.
