I HATE THE 3-3-5 !!!
now that thats out of my system
Overall im optimistic for many reasons.
1.stoff our defense thats the easy one
2. Their points cane from what WE did as opposed to what THEY did
3. If the almighty NC struggled against cuse (sarcasm on the almighty part) and their OFF is as good or better then ours im not really going to get bent out of shape about that especially when we probably left 10-21pts on the field for various reasons.
4. We played like poop, their defense is pretty good , the refs were so ticky tacky & yet
We won...
Usually games like this are closer or or we find some way to lose
5. Like i mentioned in #4 the refs were so damn ticky tacky & on top of calling every lil thing. They missed some stuff on both sides that was pretty big some may even have changed the game entirly. Im not saying we wont have another game where we have a ton of laundry on the field i think we have atleast 3 more in us lol
But i dont think we will be what we were last year when it comes to penalties i cant really put my finger on it or give you a reason why other then just within these two games the team just feels different they carry themselves different i may be crazy but hopefully someone gets what im saying and sees/feels the same lol
6. We have more weapons..
Now granted we need to catch the ball & call plays that let folks catch the ball but thats neither here nor there lol
7. Depth.
We rotate on both sides of the ball alot of teams dont have the same depth as us later in the season that will come in handy
8. This prolly should of been higher but most teams dont run a 3-3-5. On top of that cuse defense even b4 the switch was pretty good. So trying to adjust to that may be harder then usual in the times we are in. I think we will fair better against normal defenses the 3-4 or 4-3's of the word
9. Everyones still playing relatively sloppy and is still feeling themselves out its early in the season of be more worried if this was like our 6th or 7th game and we are still playing like this (minus clemson lol)
And finally
10. I think duzz resorted back to his old ways when he felt like we had the game in check and started calling it more conservative because he didnt really respect what cuse could do offensively
But i dont expect him to do that against Lville next week i think he was just bs'ing like usual but next week we will see things open up.
