My thoughts

1.) definition of a good coach is one that adapts to the times and talent he has. Pitt has a good coach!
2.) while good defense never goes away the rules have changed making it impossible to mug guys. Playing defense is not the same as in the good old days.
3.) if you can make 3's with a hand in your face falling backwards like Smith was doing last night my hats off to him and I'd give him those shots everyday
4.) JRob is fulfilling the potential he displayed as a freshman. Do you think it has anything to do with the guys he's playing with?
5.) Pitt would still be 13-1 without Luther ,I feel they mismanaged his eligibility . He should have been red shirted.
6.) wait till C Johnson erupts ,hopefully this year . He's going to be special.
7.) this offense will shut up all those pundits that claim an offensively gifted player cannot flourish under JD's offensive scheme.
8.) I hope the marketing people figure out a way to fill up every seat even if they have to give 2 games for the price of one without donations
9.) this could wind up being the most exciting Pitt team to watch in years. A lot of offense with a lot of close games.

#3 - agree totally - Adam Smith had his inner "Steph Curry" going when it came to making his shots last night - and it wasn't like he was taking set shots! The difficulty factor for many of them was pretty high

#5 - I like Ryan Luther; I think he's a couple years away from being a contributor though. Like you I wish he could've red shirted
