As a conference, they're strong top to bottom in the sleaze department. But none of them make the Top 5.
Jurich is an amazing fundraiser. We should be so lucky to fundraise as well as he does.
But is he otherwise flawed? Absolutely.
They certainly deserve consideration.
Hired a coach who recruited a bunch of rapists and sex perverts.
You'd think with Ped States storied past they would have been a bit more sensitive

He benefits from being in a city...And State.....with no pro sport teams.
I just always found it amusing how so many here fawned over him.
Ole Miss and Oklahoma St should be considered for honorable mention.
Oklahoma St had female students as greeters? and hostesses? for recruits.
And how can we not include Miami a prep school for the Florida prison system. Plus they had the hooker connection for recruits.

Baylor is number one and its not even close. We can still debate for eternity how much Paterno knew about Sandusky. There is zero gray area with Baylor. They all f**kin' knew. The coaches, the school administration....all of them. Rather than do right for these young women at this allegedly "Christian" university, they not only looked the other way but they also slut shamed the victims.
Had a graduate assistant die while video recording on a scaffold and ND tried to sweep it under the rug.
Players kicked off the team for having tutors take their tests for them.
Girl raped by player, swept under the rug.
ND is almost as CORRUPT as the Catholic Church they are a part of.
And there was that little murder issue a few years ago. Yeah, Baylor is by far the most disgusting athletic department in the history of college athletics.
They didn't sweep anything under the rug. No charges filed, the kids family did not hold them responsible. Bad things happen sometimes.
How exactly does kicking kids off the team make the athletic department sleazy? Isn't that pretty much what is expected of athletic departments when their kids are doing wrong?
I understand people want to bash Notre Dame and the Catholic Church, but this is downright stupid.

Baylor has problems with basketball and football programs within the past 15 years. They are the poster child for selling their soul to the devil in return for success.
I was born, baptized, and raised a Catholic. Spent til the age of 14 going to Catholic school. I'm not criticizing it from the outside.
The Catholic church is corrupt.
Notre Dame's track record of violence against women and student video managers under Kelly isn't great....

As I said, religion should not be on this board. As a practicing Catholic, I certainly am distressed with some of the things that have occurred, but they are not universal. All religions have their problems. Let's keep our posts to football.
