I need to make a post regarding my Uncle Freddie Robisco and his comments regarding Penn State football. I think you guys are going to want to hear this. He’s a football savant and former heralded middle and junior high football
Coach. He played in high school through his sophomore year but had to end his career due to Osgood-Shlotters disease. He makes college and NFL predictions and draft predictions and is a major Pitt fan. Anyways, he thinks a lot of the Penn State media hype is pure bull$hit. He says the current team is all smoke and mirrors. First they play in a well division and have one of the easiest schedules in all of college football and certainly for a top 10 team. Their QB is named Drew Allar and he is essentially a 3 star QB average at best. The kid get a lot of pub due to his size but he is it going to be any good on this level. My uncle thinks CV should have been the primary back up over Allar and is a better all around QB. Franklin the scumbag he is didn’t give CV a fair shot because of the BS rankings that Allar got as a 4 star QB. Their RB’s are not top flight guys. They have a kid named Nick Singlarton who is a track guy. Good straight speed but afraid to run between tackles and poor vision. Their backup is slow and I think averages 2.5 yds a carry. Both guys fumble a lot. They have no WR corps as both guys who did anything last year are in the NFL as backups. Their D is often heralded but look at the tape my Uncle says and it’s more smoke and motors. Their LB corps is slow led by a white dude named Elson. They lost Joey Porter Junior to the NFL and as we all agree he wasn’t that good and just hyped because of his fathers history. They are small on the Defensive line and likely won’t be able to hold up against bigger OL.
Season Prediction
WVU (L) - convention says a PSU win but Allar making first start on prime time with a big crowd and I see alot of jitters and INT’s. WVU has a massive OL and will be able to run over PSU and ny Uncle sees a WVU 37- 30 win
Deleware (W) - what a joke to even scheukde this. I’d be embarrassed if we ever scheduled a game like this. Pathetic.
Illini (L) - again a physical team that matches up against PSU weakness. Illini were one half of football away from winning the Bug10 west conference. PSU also plays away and will lose.
Iowa (L) - at home in a white out but Iowa has had PSU’s number and Kirk Ferentz owns Franklin. I see Iowa shutting out PSU as Iowa d is the best in the Bug10. Iowa 16 - PSU 0
NW (W) - NW is a mess and doesn’t have the athletes. Call it PSU 23 - NW 17
UMaSS - Another joke of a game. Who schedules a team ljke This. Embaraaaing for them. Heather wouldn’t ever allow this.
OSU (L) - OSU owns the the kittens and will be another blowout like 45-10
Indiana (W) - Indiana sucks. Need I say more.
Maryland (L) - Maryland is my uncle
Freddie’s sleeper and sees them as a 10-2 team only losing to OSu and UM. Maryland hammered PSU a few years ago in what was a Glorius game and with Marylands QB, look for a similar route. Plus The Terps are at home.
Michgan (L) - another blowout loss coming up for the Nitta. Michigan has blown out the kittens the last few years and expect another ass kid king. UM 55- PSU 13
Rutgers (W) - what a joke. I wish the ACC had teams like Rutgers and NW to help us get auto wins and a bye week.
Mich State (L) michgan state will rebound this year and PSU hasn’t won in East Lansing in about 6 years or so.
Season prediction. 5-7. My Uncle is very rarely wrong and I laid a ton of coin on the Penn state under at 9.5 wins. Essentially free money.
