I read an article about college athletes and lack of sleep in the online Wall Street Journal this morning. Coach Narduzi was featured. The piece mentioned how he and his coaches have temporarily moved into the dorms as a means of getting to know the players. An added benefit of having coaches bunk there is that athletes will hit the sack at designated times (lights out at 10:30 for Pitt players). The article also mentioned that people viewing electronic screens (ie., tablets, sell phones, etc.) right before bed have more difficulty falling asleep. Unsure I can link the article as I pay for the content. Nice exposure for Pitt though..
