Narduzzi selecting offensive coordinators is a mixed bag. This will be at least his fifth offensive coordinator since he came to Pitt. Pitt had a big year under Matt Canada and Nate Peterson. Canada immediately left to go to LSU has their offensive coordinator. Narduzzi spent the next couple of years mumbling about loyalty.

This past year Mark Whipple and Kenny Picket had a huge year and Whipple leaves for an OC job at Nebraska. Clearly he did not get along with Narduzzi who said. He scored too quickly and my defense could not get the proper rest.

Narduzzi was asked if he would ever go to a spread offense and run the read option. He said NEVER as long as I am coach.

Narduzzi's ideal game is what Dave Wannstedt use to dream about. The game is a 7-7 tie and your team goes on a long drive and kicks a field goal as time expires to win it.

Pitt's offense was entertaining to watch this past year but it is not Duzzi's cup of tea.
