I am a Narduzzi supporter especially in year 2 but this is where I get nervous. We sit at 5-4 with three to go. Could finish at 8-4 with a win at Clemson to start. But I get nervous because what is going through Narduzzi head? Is he getting annoyed because he is losing with other coaches crap? Is he thinking he can't win here?

Only Narduzzi can answer that. If he can recruit, he can win. We simply have to recruit better.

If you think there is any way that Pitt can actually beat Clemson, you're not a real Pitt fan. By that I mean you haven't watched any Pitt football over the past 30 years.

They will absolutely destroy us. There is no scenario where we beat them short of a blimp crashing on their pre-game walk through killing everyone but their long snapper.

He had an entire team of an other coach's players last year...
Our defensive failures are on his coaching, not the players.

When you are high strung, things weigh on you hard at times, some things bother you to the core and can't shake them. Almost a personality disorder to be high strung like that

I think its still a bit early for all that. I've seen enough early positives pointing to he(and Canada) are good coaches and am still attributing alot of the stubbornness and gaffes to his learning curve as a HC. But this is Pitt, so....

People do realize yesterday's loss by a very wide margin can be blamed on execution and player errors? Right? They literally screwed up at the worst possible times and in the worst possible ways.....

Outside of the fake punt....let's get real... turnovers galore special teams mistakes non catches and non tackling ( this one was apparent on Miamis first drive) ....ball game

Imagine without the st touchdown.

Our defensive strategy is the problem every single game

He isn't going 8-4 we will be lucky if he can go 7-5, but I would be surprised if its more than 6-6. I would think he is frustrated but coaches know its going to take time to succeed he has been through it before at MI ST. Actually if he can go even 6-6, its going better than it did for them at MI ST. I don't worry about PN giving up, I worry that his systems are antiquated and he seems to stubborn to adjust. Bill Bellchick is the best coach in the NFL because he adjust his system week to week. One week they will run the bal %60 of the time next week they will throw %90. Same thing on D. They adjust to take advantage of the opponents weakness. Biggest complaint with PN is they don't adjust/ adjust soon enough.

I am sorry Clemson doesn't scare me like they seemingly do so many others. Yes they most likely will win but NC State was a missed field goal away from beating them on their home field. Their defense is tough but the offense can and does turn the ball over

This is true too. However, we can't let mistakes cause us to get boatraced against mediocre teams. We gave up almost 550 yards.

I don't expect Pitt to win but I also don't buy into this Clemson hype, they are definitely beatable
Not by Pitt they aren't. We won't be able to stop them, and they will be able to stop us.

Try this: take a look at Clemson's home record over the past couple years, and take a look at Pitt's road record versus ranked teams over the same time frame.

That should give you some clarity.

Pitt doesn't pull off a big upset very often.
Well, that could be said of most teams. If you're beating a lot if those teams, you're probably pretty good and thus, it's not really an upset.

That said, Chryst was generally good for one upset win a year.
Narduzzi hasn't shown that yet, but his sample size is small. And he has avoided the dreaded WTF loss that plagued Chryst, Wannstedt, and Walt.

As for Clemson, I'm not expecting a win against them, but they're not above screwing up. They should have lost to NC State.

I thought many were quite frighten in the Pitt's Preseason not knowing what to expect. I know I can link Old Posts showing TOSS UP WINS, TOSS UPS, & TOSS UP LOSSES in ever game except One WIn against Villanova and One Lost to Clemson. Predictions went from 6-6 to 10-2?

Pitt Fans had no idea how good OC Canada would be and all knew Pitt had young Wideouts without by losing Ford and Challingworth early. Conner would be recovering his running too. Yet, the future looks brighter for next year too even with a New QB.

All knew the Defense is still a big work in progress from last year. Throw in the 5 Top Recruits that have Medical Redshirts and other key Injuries to DBs, LBs, and DLs? Hamlin could not start, Zeise, Hendrix out, even Whitehead, others missed games?

I was surprised Pitt Played so well early on and PSU, OKSU, UNC and VT are all ranked right now? I am also surprised the Defense cannot improve after the 9 games? Delightful Last Chance Winning & Deep Close Disappointments abounded this season like season. One can see another 8-5 again!

But the Offense and Special Teams are much better than I ever expected against a tougher schedule than last year, one can see the changes from the previous 120 years dating from 1996, i waited this long, i can wait some more and if others can't so be that too.

Pitt got blown away yesterday but so did many other Programs and they have bigger, longer, and far more resources than Pitt has had with a New Chancellor, Coach & AD in a New Power Conference ACC! Miami and BC joined way back in 2003 & 2006, VT did great but had to replace Beamer. FSU recovered to winning a NCS. Pitt, Cuse and now even ND are rebuilding, and ULou with a Heisman QB is doing way better than expected as well.

Pitt Players and Coaches got what they deserved yesterday, and it is up to them to change it and I ma happy to wait, watch, and see if they are up that challenge, and happy to leave it all up to you, to view it as you please.

So Little Done & So Much More to Do Said It Last Year & Still True This Year Too!!!

Narduzzi knows more then anybody, that he is playing with predominantly Chryst and even Graham players. We can give him the benefit of the doubt, if he can continue to build on his type of players Pitt will be very competitive in what I would think the next 3 to 5 years. Patience is a virtue,

Actually, the only Graham player left on the roster is Price.
