Narduzzi is not only good, he's funny (shot at PSU)

Gotta laugh at this:

Pat Narduzzi took a veiled shot at rival Penn State with his answer to a question about play calling and QB Nate Peterman's accuracy. Narduzzi said, "You could have a talented quarterback with a bad play caller and make him look bad. You see that around the country, some closer than others."

Folks at BWI completely agree with this statement, but they are going to be out of their minds livid because Narduzzi had the gaul to say it.

Yes! Would love to see Narduzzi coaching in the days of the heated Pitt-Penn State days and hear JoePa's opinion on him. No doubt, Narduzzi would fire back... and would not worry about sounding harsh about it. Have you heard fans across the country say Narduzzi can sometimes be somewhat of a jerk? I forget what fanbase was posting this earlier in the pre-season. Maybe Ohio State? I've definitely heard it, not saying I agree with it though. IMO Urban Meyer is one of the biggest in all of coaching. Coach Narduzzi does not seem to fond of OSU, so I would love to play them at some point in Narduzzi and Meyer's tenure. No doubt, Coach Pat would have some interesting things to say that week. I'm sure a very, very long shot to play them even in the next 20 years though, especially with how early schedules are made.

If PN is a little bit of a cocky jerk I view it as a plus. Pitt has needed someone with that edge. Graham had it but too much and in the I really am an ahole way. Walt and PC are about the nicest guys you could ever meet and Wanny wasn't like that until frustration kicked in and that way of getting a little jerk in your character doesn't produce good results.

He did this at MSU in regards to Michigan, and his team backed it up on the field.

Other coaches might be worried about making these types of comments in reference to an upcoming opponent, but my guess is that if you reminded PN that he has to play them next year, he'd just laugh and say yes, I know that.

It also is funny in that it likely backs Franklin into a small corner. Everyone at PSU as been screaming that he fire his OC, so does he not respond to the dig, or does he come out with a public defense of his OC, a guy he might have to fire at the end of the season? And if he does fire him, Narduzzi can say I told you so.

Narduzzi has somewhat of a reputation of little zingers like thism. OSU fans hate his guts because of little lines like this. Personally, I love it.

Another reason why although being from Ohio, I don't think we ever have to worry about Ohio State trying to lure him away. He is not liked in Columbus and Coach Narduzzi does not like the Buckeyes.
